The Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS/TUSMM) came into being in 2021 after the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) merged with Athlone Institute of Technology to form the larger TUS institution. However, its roots trace back to 1852 and the Limerick School of Ornamental Art. TUSMM's four faculties are Applied Sciences and Technology, Business & Humanities, Engineering and Built Environment, and Limerick School of Art & Design. CWU students will study at the the Clare Street or Moylish campuses of TUS Midwest.
Preference given to Art + Design students. Other disciplines require advanced consultation with the partner.
