Spain: CWU Intensive Spanish at the Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad de León

Participants will take intensive Spanish language classes at the Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad de León (CDI), located just outside of León's medieval city center in the Jardin de San Francisco and only 15 minutes' walk to the Cathedral in the heart of the city. Classes range in level from A1 (beginner) to C1 (superior) and combine 20 hours of weekly instruction with visits to local sights and excursions elsewhere in the province of León. Optional overnight excursions farther afield are offered for a small extra fee. In the summer, CDI has two four-week sessions in July and August, which can be combined into one eight-week session. During the academic year, CDI's three-month terms align well with each of CWU's quarters.
Housing options include student residences and homestays with local families vetted by CDI staff. During the regular academic year and longer stays, acommodation in private apartments also may be possible
Credit is issued by Universidad de León and transferred to CWU. CWU will collect CDI tuition and homestay fees and pay CDI on participants' behalf.
