Annual Available Placements: 2 students for 2 semesters or equivalent.

Its name translating to "Pear Blossoms", Ewha Womans University traces its beginnings to a mission school for founded by an American missionary in 1886 and is one of South Korea's oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education. With more than 19,000 students, Ewha is one of the world's largest female educational institutions; nonetheless, the international student program is co-educational and open to male students. Every year, the university hosts approximately 1,600 international students from 74 countries. Given the campus' location in the Sinchon district and the nearby eponymous subway station, the Seoul city center is easily and quickly accessible.

No Korean language proficiency is required, as Ewha offers approximately a third of its classes in English, including many from its AACSB-accreditated business school. Korean language and culture classes are also available to enhance students' understanding of the host environment.
