Letter from the CWU Alumni Association March 2022

Spring is just around the corner, and with a new season brings new events for the Wildcat Nation!

Join us for Distinguished Alumni Awards, scheduled for Friday, May 13. This year the ceremony will take place at the Alumni Plaza, inside Tomlinson Stadium, with music, appetizers, beverages, and, of course, the recognition of several outstanding Wildcats. This event is free, but registration is required. Please RSVP by visiting our upcoming events page.

Wildcat Athletics is hosting the 2022 Wildcat Gala and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 23. You’re invited to celebrate and honor CWU athletes who are being inducted into the hall of fame while also raising money for future student-athletes to follow in their footsteps. Tickets can be purchased by visiting Wildcat Tickets.

This April it is time for Wildcats to take over T-Mobile Park at CWU Night with the Mariners! Grab your friends and join us as the Mariners take on the Royals on April 22, with pre-game festivities including games, music from 88.1 The 'Burg, and pictures with Wellington. Purchase your tickets through this special ticket link, which also includes the opportunity to get a Mariners and CWU co-branded hat, while supplies last. We hope to see you there!

Have you heard about our partnership with 1st Security Bank that offers Wildcat credit and debit cards so you can show your Wildcat pride with every purchase you make? This credit card is available to all Wildcats as part of the alumni association affinity program, which also offers a free Crimson Visa Debit Card when you open a checking account at 1st Security Bank. Visit  our page on the 1st Security Bank website  for more information and start showing your Wildcat pride with every purchase you make while also giving back to CWU.

We are still working on building regional networks across the state and have started with King and Yakima counties. Thank you to those who have already expressed interest in being a Wildcat leader in your area, and if this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, please contact Teo Bicchieri at Teo.Bicchieri@cwu.edu or 509-963-2106.

We want to remind each of you how much we appreciate our alumni and all you do for the Wildcat family. We look forward to seeing many of you at the events and programs we have coming up this spring and as always, go Cats!
