Happy February, Wildcats!
We want to say thank all of you who filled out our recent alumni engagement survey that provided us with valuable feedback about various areas where we can improve. We appreciate your responses and look forward to better serving our Wildcat Nation at future events and in future communications with you.
We are bringing back our popular O’Blarney’s Pub pregame basketball meetup in Olympia this year! Join us before the men’s and women’s basketball teams play Saint Martin’s University on Thursday, February 23, between 4:00-7:00 p.m., then head over to cheer on your Wildcats. This event is free, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Calling all Arizona Wildcats! We will be heading to Phoenix next month on March 8, to host an alumni social and we would love if you would join us. RSVP for this event is required, so please let us know if you’ll be in attendance by visiting Upcoming Events.
One of our biggest events has been announced, and now you can be among the first to get your tickets! CWU Night with the Mariners is on April 21, and this year when you purchase a ticket through the Mariners' website you will receive a CWU/Mariners co-branded jersey at the game, while supplies last. We will be hosting a pregame before the first pitch where you can pick up your jersey and mingle with fellow Wildcats inside T-Mobile Park. Tickets with the jersey giveaway are limited, so make sure to secure your ticket today!
The 3rd annual Find Your Voice Conference put on by the Women in Business club is taking place at Wellington event Center on March 3. This conference brings back College of Business alumni to share insight on how to be a successful woman in business and provides the opportunity to network with successful career-focused women, interact in workshops and breakouts, and listen to a leadership panel. All students, alumni, community members, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend and can get their tickets through Wildcat Tickets.
Looking ahead to next month, mark your calendars for a Yakima AlumNight on March 16, and a Tacoma AlumNight on March 30. More information will be coming soon and we hope to see you in your region!
