CWU offers a variety of on-campus living options with a range of price points. Below, please find our rates for residence halls and on-campus apartments.
Residence Hall Rates
CWU Housing offers six different price points for campus residence halls. Our halls are divided into Standard and Amenity halls, and each hall type offers single, double, and suite-style rooms.
Standard Halls
- Fully-furnished residence hall room
- Classic collegiate experience
- Includes Beck, Davies, Hitchcock, Kamola, Meisner, Moore, North, Quigley, Sparks, Stephens-Whitney, and Wilson halls
Amenity Halls
- Fully-furnished residence hall room
- Residence hall offers air conditioning and elevators
- Includes Barto, Dugmore, Sue Lombard, Wendell Hill A, and Wendell Hill B halls
Residence Halls offer three room types.
Room Types
There are three room types available across campus.
Single Room
All single bedrooms regardless of bathroom type. Includes:
- Singles with community bathrooms
- Singles with suite bathrooms
Suite-Style
Shared bedroom with attached bathroom shared by you and your roommate/suitemates. Includes:
- Doubles with private bathrooms
- Doubles with suite bathrooms
Shared Room
Shared bedroom with community bathroom. Includes:
- Doubles with community bathrooms
- Triples with community bathrooms

Dining Meal Plan Rates
Students living on campus are required to have a residential meal plan, per their Room and Board Contract. On-campus residential meal plans are only available to students living in residence halls and in on-campus apartments.

On-Campus Apartment Rates
Central Washington University will have six on-campus apartment complexes available for the 2026-2027 academic year. Apartments are available for rent by the bedroom or by the apartment unit, depending on the complex you select. Each complex offers a variety of apartment unit sizes.

Anderson Apartments
Anderson Apartments are a hybrid between living in a residence hall and an apartment because they are only available for the academic year. Rent for Anderson is charged per resident at the beginning of each quarter.

- 9-month, academic year contract only

Brooklane Village Apartments
Brooklane Village apartments are available in three sizes and rent by the apartment unit.
- Rent is charged by the apartment (divided equally among all student residents)
- Initial 9-month contract that starts in September of the coming academic year
- 12-month renewal contract to include summers
- Unit types: 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom
2025-2026 Monthly Rent:
1 Bedroom: $1,050
2 Bedroom: $1,285
3 Bedroom: $1,3602026-2027 Monthly Rent:
1 Bedroom: $1,100
2 Bedroom: $1,340
3 Bedroom: $1,400Additional Occupant Surcharge:
One extra occupant may be added to apartment units per request. Rent will be increased $200 for the additional tenant per month and be equally divided amongst the tenants in the apartment. This fee is intended to cover the extra utility consumption and wear and tear on the apartment.

Carmody-Munro Apartments
Carmody-Munro Apartments features microstudio units and rent for the academic year only. Only one occupant per microstudio unit is allowed. A microstudio consists of a large bedroom. The building offers community bathrooms and community kitchen and lounge areas.

- Bedroom types: microstudio

Short-Getz Apartments
Short-Getz apartments are available in two sizes and rent by the apartment unit.
- Rent is charged by the apartment (divided equally among all student residents)
- Initial 9-month contract that starts in September of the coming academic year
- 12-month renewal contract to include summers
- Unit types: 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom
2025-2026 Monthly Rent:
1 Bedroom: $1,075

Student Village Apartments
Rent for Student Village is charged per resident at the beginning of each month. If a student is assigned to a two-bedroom or three-bedroom apartment, they will still only be responsible for the rent for their room.

- Unit types: Studio, Large Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom

Apartment Meal Plan
An apartment meal plan is available to on-campus apartment residents through the Connection Card office. For more information, please visit the Connection Card office or webpage on meal plans and dining dollars.
