Summer Housing

Are you are taking classes, working on campus, or will you be here over the summer? If you said yes to one or more of these questions, then you can sign up to live on campus in summer housing.

Summer 2025 Housing Applications open Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

We offer 6-week and 9-week sessions and an opportunity to stay the entire summer (must stay a minimum of a 6-week session):

  • 6-Week Session:
    • Current residents: June 14 - Aug. 2, 2025
    • New residents: June 21 - Aug. 2, 2025
  • 9-Week Session:
    • Current residents: June 14 - Aug. 23, 2025
    • New residents: June 21 - Aug. 23, 2025
  • Extension/Full Summer:
    • Current residents: June 14 - Sept. 14, 2025 (student will then transition to their fall room assignment)
    • New residents: June 21 - Sept. 14, 2025 (student will transition to their fall room assignment)

Please Note: Only students who have a Fall 2025 housing assignment may stay the entire summer.

All students will be housed in a designated summer residence hall. The summer residence hall is fully staffed with RAs to serve as student resources. On campus summer housing is great for a stress free transition without the hassle of paying month-to-month on a summer lease.

Current residents are able to move in starting on June 14, 2025 after they check out of their spring quarter assignment.

Summer Housing Applications close on Monday, June 9, 2025.

To complete the contract, log onto your MyHousing portal, choose Applications, and select the summer housing contract once it opens. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us in Button Hall (8 AM-5 PM M-F), via email, or call 509-963-1831.

To sign up for summer housing, please complete the following steps:

    1. Read and review the housing contract either on this web page or in MyHousing.
    2. Login to MyHousing and sign your summer contract acknowledging the terms of the contract.
    3. Pay the application fee, if needed. Current on-campus residents who will be living on campus for fall 2025 will not pay an application fee. All others will pay a $200 application fee ($100 non-refundable processing fee and a $100 pre-payment that will be credited to your summer housing bill upon move-in).
    4. The meal plan that matches your length of stay will be assigned. Please enter emergency contact information for summer, and select your room type preference.

Meal plans are required when living in the residence halls, and there is not a prorated amount for late arrivals or early departures. In your application, you will pick the meal plan that matches your length of stay. Students staying the full 12 weeks will select the 9-week meal plan.

Room types are available on a "first come, first served" basis. Get your application in early to have the best chance of getting your preferred room type!
