Faculty Senate Ad Hoc Committees
Faculty Senate Ad Hoc Committees
Supporting Faculty Senate Initiatives
From time to time, the Faculty Senate establishes Ad Hoc Committees to study specific issues, gather information, develop recommendations, or complete projects of limited duration. These committees play an important role in addressing emerging needs and supporting the work of the Faculty Senate. Unlike standing committees, they exist only until their assigned work is complete. This page contains information and resources for each active Ad Hoc Committee.
Global Literacy Ad Hoc Committee
2025-2026 GLAC Roster The Global Literacy Ad Hoc Committee was established by the Faculty Senate to develop recommendations supporting students' understanding of the interconnected nature of today's world. The committee examined practices at peer institutions, developed proposed student learning outcomes, and provided recommendations for consideration as part of future General Education revisions.
