The Purpose of the Evaluation and Assessment Committee
The Faculty Senate Evaluation and Assessment Committee shall be concerned with assessment tools affecting faculty or requiring faculty input. It shall receive, review, initiate, and make recommendations or proposals for assessment tools used for the biennial Faculty Assessment of Academic Administrators, the biennial Faculty Senate and Senate Executive Committee Assessments, and do such other similar things as charged by the Senate Executive Committee, coordinating its efforts with other individuals, groups or committees as necessary or appropriate.

Committee Governance & Responsibilities
Committee Charges
EAC25-26.01 - Send AY25 assessments to the EC.
EAC25-26.02 - Collaborate with Multimodal to create and run a Peer Observation workshop for faculty reviews.
EAC25-26.03 - Review the appropriateness of SEOI questions. With specific focus on the question “To what extent do you agree or disagree that the instructor seemed genuinely concerned with whether you learned?”
EAC25-26.04 - Collaborate with the EC to review the provost’s process document for assessment of administrators. Offer recommendations as needed.
EAC25-26.05 - Review the Faculty Senate and Faculty Senate Executive Committee annual assessment questions and topic areas.
EAC25-06.06 - Conduct annual assessment of Faculty Senate and Faculty Senate Executive Committee.
EAC25-26.07 - Conduct biennial assessment of administrators as described in Faculty Code.
