Academic and Student Life Resources
Academic and Student Life Resources
CWU has a variety of unique resources designed to help your student succeed both academically and personal during their educational journey.
CWU Libraries
Looking for resources to assist you in your studies? CWU Libraries offers a wide range of books, journals, streaming media, and other research materials accessible both in-person and online, in addition to 24/7 chat assistance, subject-specific librarians, laptop and equipment check-out, comfortable study spaces, engaging events, and much more.
Learning Commons
The Learning Commons supports student excellence through peer-to-peer collaboration. Services are offered in-person and virtually, and include tutoring, peer assisted learning, academic coaching, peer mentor connections, and help developing skills such as time management, studying, and note-taking.
Academic Advising
CWU Academic Advising is here to help guide students at all points of their academic journey. All students at CWU are assigned to an academic advisor who is the go to person for navigating CWU. From academic to resource guidance, our advisors support your student throughout their time at CWU.
Academic Calendar
Support network members often want to know when each academic term begins and ends in order to make arrangements for travel and vacation. The academic calendars can be found on the Office of the Registrar website.
Disability Services
Disability Services (DS) serves students with permanent and temporary disabilities attending Central on the Ellensburg campus, online, or at any of our eight University Centers. They work individually with students, identifying barriers and providing accommodations to ensure equal access. DS educates the campus about the needs of students with disabilities and is a resource on disability-related topics.
Parking Services
CWU Parking is an affordable option for students who want to park their cars on campus. Permits are required for students and guests and can also be purchased online.
Student Involvement
Getting involved on campus is crucial to the success of our students. Clubs, organizations, teams, and other groups are a great support network for CWU students and provides opportunities to create life-long friendships. For more information, visit our CWU Student Involvement website.
Transfer Center
The Transfer Center helps transfer students make a seamless transition from their previous institution(s) to CWU. It provides pre-admission advising, transition support, and assistance establishing connections to the campus community and its many resources.
