Ellensburg, Washington is located in the geographic center of the state and is the heart of Central Washington with a population of around 18,000.

A short 90-minute drive from Seattle, Ellensburg offers more sunny days and picturesque sunsets than its rainier counterpart in the Puget Sound. Founded in 1871 with the arrival of the railroad, downtown Ellensburg remains a National Historic District, providing an important example of Western pioneer architecture. Ellensburg boasts a culturally rich community, is largely spared from major crime, and offers art walks, galleries, and many local wineries and breweries tasting rooms.

Known by many as a rodeo town, Ellensburg hosts the annual Ellensburg Rodeo, a cherished tradition amongst the townspeople who are proud to call this town their home but who know that “E-burg” offers so much more.
