How do I know who my academic advisor is?
- Log into mycwu
- Advisor info is listed near the bottom of your Homepage or at the top of your Student page
Schedule an Appointment
Scheduling an appointment is quick and easy!
- Log in to MyCWU
- Navigate to the Student tab
- Select Advising tab on left-hand side
- Open Schedule Advising Appointment link
- Click Schedule appointment
- Pick a date and time that works for you
- Confirm your appointment

Are you declared in a major?
Every major is part of an academic college at CWU, and each college has a team of academic advisors to serve our students. If you are in multiple majors, you may have advisors in different colleges. Check the "College Advising Contacts" webpage
Are you first year student? or exploring different majors and are undecided?
The First Year and Exploratory Advising team is here to assist you. They provide essential advising support for students who are exploring their academic major options. Advisors in this area will help guide you with informed decision making, utilize student development theories and proactive advising strategies to support student’s educational goals.
CWU also offers specialty programs for advising that supplements the general university advising services for specific populations. For more information, check out our Student Advising Resources.
You will work with advising throughout the first year in group advising and/or individual advising appointments. After your first year, plan to meet with your advisor during fall and spring quarters to ensure you are on track for graduation. Meet your Advisor and track the path to your future!
