At CWU, we are here for your future.

Advising services at CWU are provided based on your major program. Each major is part of an academic college, and each college has a team of academic advisors that serves students. If you are in multiple majors, you may have advisors in different colleges. Learn more about our Major Advising.

If you are exploring different majors or undecided, try our Exploratory Advising services. CWU also offers specialty programs for advising that supplements the general university advising services for specific populations. For more information, check out our Student Advising Resources.

You will work with advising throughout the first year during group advising and individual advising appointments. After your first year, plan to meet with your advisor during fall and spring quarters to ensure you are on track for graduation. Meet your Advisor and track the path to your future.

“As an academic advisor, my hope is that my students never stop exploring, asking questions, reflecting, and growing with each inspiration or challenge they experience here at Central and beyond,” - Caitlin Basset is the Assistant Director of Advising and Peer Mentoring Programs
