Quarterly Sprinkler Inspections

  • Takes approximately .5 HR per building. (Approx. 2-3 Days with 1 Simplex Tech)
  • No Sounding of Horns Anticipated

5 year Sprinkler / 5 year Standpipe

  • Takes approximately 1.5 HR per building. (5 Long Days with 1 Simplex Tech / 1 CWU Tech)
  • Sound horn for approximately 1 minute.
  • Disable signaling devices using programmed button (some signaling devices may sound).

Semi-Annual Sprinkler

  • Takes approximately 1 HR per building. (Approx. 4 Days with 1 Simplex Tech / 1 CWU Tech)
  • Sound horn for approximately 1 minute.
  • Disable Signaling devices using programmed button (some signaling devices may sound).

Annual Sprinkler

  • Takes approximately 1.5 HR per building. (Approx. 6 Days with 1 Simplex Tech / 1 CWU Tech)
  • Sound Horn for approximately 1 minute.
  • Disable Signaling devices using programmed button (some signaling devices may still sound).

Annual Fire Backflow Testing

  • Takes approximately .5 HR per building. (Approx. 2-3 Days with 1 Simplex Tech)
  • ​​​​​​​No Sounding of Horns Anticipated

Auxiliary Building Fire Alarm Device Testing (Round 1 of 2)

  • Takes approximately 3-6 HR per building. (2 CWU Tech)
  • Test Horn/Strobes at scheduled times (signaling devices will sound).
  • ​​​​​​​Test devices throughout day in “Silent Walk Test Mode”

Finish Auxiliary Building Device Testing (Round 2 of 2)

  • Takes approximately 3-6 HR per building. (2 CWU Tech)
  • Test Horn/Strobes at scheduled times.
  • ​​​​​​​Test devices throughout day in “Silent Walk Test Mode”

Academic Building Device Testing

  • Takes approximately 3-6 HR per building. (2 CWU Tech)
  • Sound Horns Before 6AM
  • ​​​​​​​Test devices throughout day in “Silent Walk Test Mode"
