Ethics Training and Resources at CWU
All University employees are expected to be familiar and comply with state ethics laws, rules, and other related policies; therefore, CWU employees are required to participate in ethics training and should familiarize themselves with the resources outlined below.
If you have questions about the ethics resources below or wish to seek ethical guidance, please contact the CWU Ethics Advisor.
Ethics in the Workplace Required Training
All CWU employees are required to participate in "Ethics in Public Service" training once every three years. This training provides a basic understanding of the ethical standards in place for state employees and officials, as well as covers what is required as a state employee under Ethics in Public Service law (RCW 42.52) and corresponding rules (WAC 292).
- For additional information about required training for CWU employees, visit "Required Training" on the Human Resources website.
