Deaf and Sign Language Studies, including American Sign Language (ASL), are valuable and important communication skills to learn. Over 20 million Americans are  hard-of-hearing and rely on professional ASL interpretors to communicate. In addition to contributing to a more inclusive society, ASL fluency can lead to advantageous and fulfilling careers like, teaching, interpreting, and working in health-care sectors or government agencies.

There is currently high demand for skilled ASL communicators. Let CWU can help you launch your career with a BA or a minor featuring small, focused classes with dedicated and passionate professors.
