Sport Coaching Specialization
Central Washington University's athletics program has a proud history of displaying excellent sportsmanship. This quality epitomizes our student-athletes, and is a focus of our sport coaching program. Our faculty share the values of sportsmanship and a commitment to ethics. Here at Central, we strive to pass these values on to future coaching professionals. We are excited to offer the specialization in Sport Coaching, one of four options for completing requirements of the Sport Management major. Please see the course catalog for specific Sport Coaching specialization degree requirements and course listings.
To apply to the Sport Management program, please reach out to Program Coordinator Dr. Brian McGladrey. Additionally, if you are also interested in the Sport Coaching Minor, be sure to check out this opportunity and the course catalog.
You can also check out our CWU Northwest Center for Sport website to see what opportunities our students also have outside the classroom.
