We want to ensure everyone can gain from the SOURCE experience, even if you aren't presenting a project this year. Explore the different ways students, faculty, alumni, and even our Ellensburg community can participate in SOURCE. Learn more about what to expect at SOURCE and how you can help us make this year’s event great!
SOURCE 2026's theme: Transformation
Transformation is a thorough, dramatic, or complete change in the appearance or character of something or someone, often indicating that that thing or person is improved. The term transformation is used across all disciplines to indicate changes in variables but is also used to indicate personal growth. Personal transformation is often initiated through important life events that motivate you to develop and improve your personal, professional, and/or academic life. SOURCE stimulates personal and professional development through scholastic achievement. Faculty, staff, community, and peers support students through their transformations during their time here at CWU.

Fall Quarter (2025)
October 15: OUR Fall Funding Applications open OUR Funding
October 14: OUR Funding Informational Session (Dean Hall 104, 5pm). Learn about what funding OUR offers undergraduate students and what you will need to prepare for applying.
October 31: OUR Fall Grant Application Deadline. You must submit your full application online by 11:59pm.
November 18: Why to SOURCE (SURC Ballroom, 4:30–6:30pm)
Winter Quarter (2026)
January 15: OUR Winter Funding Application opens OUR Funding
January 21: OUR Grant Informational Session (Dean 102, 12:00pm). Learn about what funding OUR offers undergraduate students and what you will need to prepare for applying.
January 31: OUR Winter Funding Application Deadline. You must submit your full application online by 11:59pm.
February 18: How to SOURCE (SURC Ballroom, 3:00–4:30pm)
Spring Quarter (2026)
March: SOURCE Project Registration Opens. This is required of ALL prospective SOURCE presenters.
- This is not an application! By submitting your project information and receiving mentor approval, you are registering for SOURCE and will be scheduled to present at the event in May.
- Attention OUR funding recipients!! Your funding application does NOT automatically register your project for SOURCE. Please submit this form to ensure your registration.
April 15: SOURCE Project Registration Deadline. You must submit your project/abstract by 11:59pm.
May 14-18: Oral Presentation Upload Required. Your presentation must be uploaded by 5pm on May 18.
- There will be no opportunity to upload presentations on the day of the event and our team will not be able to assist with uploads due to our tight schedule.
- In-person assistance will be available in the SURC Corridor on May 15 (4–7pm) and May 18 (1–4pm).
