OUR Funding
OUR Funding
The Office of University Student Research (OUR) supports undergraduate students through funding for travel, research, and creative activities.
Read more about each award in OUR Funding Guide or take a look at the resource page for each type of funding award. You can also check OUR Funding pamphlet for a brief overview.
*Please note that all funds are paid as reimbursement. This means that you need to pay first to be reimbursed for the expenses. We will NOT give you any funds in advance to pay.
*OUR funds will be awarded only for projects and costs that are incurred in the current fiscal year. OUR cannot provide funding for any expenses that takes place after June 1st of the year of the application.
*Undergraduate students can apply for both the foundry10 and OUR funds in a particular area. However, applications of students who receive the foundry10 funds will be automatically dropped from the equivalent OUR application pool. If you do not receive the foundry10 funds, your application will be reviewed again for the equivalent OUR funds.
Graduate Student Funding
OUR only offers funding awards for current undergraduate CWU students. The School of Graduate Studies & Research offers Funding Award Competitions for graduate students. Other funding opportunities available to graduate students include scholarships, assistantships, and department program specific funding opportunities.
For more information check out the Graduate Studies website and Canvas course, e-mail masters@cwu.edu, or stop by Barge Hall 103 (School of Graduate Studies & Research).
