CWU Virtual Leadership Academy
3-4:30pm
SURC Ballroom
Presented by Dr. Gary Myers’ sociology students, learn about the reality of virtual leadership development! Join us to discover how 60 CWU students teamed up in a 10‑week, fully online program to grow as leaders—and had fun doing it. Using anonymous avatars and text chat, participants met twice a week to tackle challenges together, build teamwork, and practice skills like planning, patience, and clear communication. This session will share stories from the academy, show how tech can bring people closer, and offer ideas for anyone interested in leadership, collaboration, or creative online learning.

Sustainability Festival & Lunch

Check out the many free and inclusive student resources prioritizing sustainability in their operations. The three pillars of sustainability, environmental, social, and economic, will be represented by the groups present. This festival will allow students to meet the faces behind these important efforts on campus, strengthening our campus community.
