IT Management's Minors and Certs

Digital Forensics Minor/Certificate

The Digital Forensics minor introduces students to the methods and tools used to investigate cyber crimes and analyze digital evidence. This program prepares students to support law enforcement, government, or corporate security efforts by understanding how to recover and and interpret data from digital devices.

Students explore topics such as data recovery, forensic procedures, legal considerations, and incident response. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience and real-world application, helping students build a strong foundation in digital forensics.

This minor pairs well with majors in criminal justice, information technology, computer science, law and justice, and cyber security.
