MAT Tests
Applicants must provide documentation of test scores that meet the minimum passing score as part of their application by the application deadline.
Basic Skills Test Information
- All applicants must demonstrate competency in reading, writing, and mathematics through proficiency tests such as the ACT, SAT, or WEST-B tests.
- Applicants may use any combination of ACT, SAT, or WEST-B tests to meet the requirements for reading, writing, and mathematics proficiency.
- If proficiency is not met in any combination of ACT, SAT, or WEST-B tests, the MAT program recommends the applicant meets the proficiency through the WEST-B test.
- Official WEST-B scores can be emailed to: MATprogram@cwu.edu
- If submitting ACT or SAT scores, applicants need to request them from Collegeboard.
- Test scores must be received by the application deadline, January 15 for June (Summer) start, July 15 for January (Winter) start.

Endorsement Test Information
- Applicants need to email their NES and/or WEST-E test scores to: MATprogram@cwu.edu

- NES score reports are released within 2 weeks of testing.
