MAT Cost

Tuition & Scholarships

Tuition for the MAT follows graduate tuition as set by CWU’s Office of the Registrar and is calculated based on how many credits you take each quarter.

Office of the Registrar Tuition and Mandatory Fees

The program is financial-aid eligible. To receive financial aid for the summer quarter, you will need to complete a current academic year FAFSA.  For the fall, winter, and spring quarters, you'll complete a FAFSA for that academic year.

We do not have all of the most current information regarding financial aid and strongly suggest that you contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Other possible financing:

  1. Candidates may apply for fellowships offered through the Department of Curriculum, Supervision & Educational Leadership.  Three endowed fellowships are available as follows. Information will be sent out from the department when the application opens each spring and is good for the following academic year.
    1. Vivian Hogue Endowment
    2. Dyveke Maurer Memorial Graduate Fellowship
    3. Marit Thomas Rhoads Graduate Fellowship
  2. The Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program is a federal program offered to teachers in various content areas, which forgives loans up to certain amounts in return for teaching in high-need schools.
