  • Association of Latino Professionals for America
    About & Purpose

    ALPFA is a student chapter of the national professional Hispanic business organization which is dedicated to furthering the careers of today's Latino business professionals. Alongside 160+ chapters across universities in America, we promote the principles of academic success, professional discipline, and personal development all while creating networking opportunities for members. Any individual is welcome to join ALPFA, all that is required is a passion to help further the success of Latin business professionals.

     

  • Beta Alpha Psi/Accounting and Finance
    About & Purpose

    Beta Alpha Psi/Accounting and Finance will shape the financial and business information professions by developing members into ethical, professional, and confident leaders. The purpose of this organization is to provide students the opportunity to connect with and learn from professionals practicing in the fields of accounting and finance in a casual, fun, interactive meeting setting, provide opportunities for professional self-development and connection with fellow students and practicing financial professionals, and encourage a sense of community, support, information sharing, and relationships while students learn about and discuss career-related options and decisions.

     

  • Digital Marketing Club
    About & Purpose

    We, the Central Washington University Digital Marketing Club aim to provide opportunities for all CWU students to develop a focused experience and knowledge in digital marketing. We seek to encourage civil debates on the impact of technology on society, markets, and consumers from diverse disciplinary perspectives. A key goal is to prepare students for new and emerging careers in digital marketing and connect them with industry professionals by inviting guest speakers, hosting alumni mixers/meet & greets, and enhancing community outreach with local businesses and networking events.

     

  • Economics Association
    About & Purpose

    We provide students with the ability to discuss and experience Economics. Presentations by professors and industry professionals inform members on things from careers in consulting to the process of writing a research paper. Members have opportunities to present their own research done throughout the year at conferences such as PNREC in front of the region’s leading economists.

     

  • Entrepreneurship Club
    About & Purpose

    The goal and purpose of the club are to provide a safe and inclusive community for all students at Central Washington University a club to help them develop their own entrepreneurial ideas and to gain valuable information to help them be successful entrepreneurs.

     

  • Financial Planning Student Association
    About & Purpose

    CWU FPSA is an undergraduate organization that is devoted to professional development and provides students with an opportunity to learn about careers within the personal financial planning industry and related fields. Professionals from various companies present at our meetings to provide information related to various careers within personal financial planning.

     

  • Society of Human Resource Management
    About & Purpose

    We strive to expand the network of students interested in Human Resources at CWU while connecting students in SHRM with notable alumni and other distinguished human resource professionals. Additionally, we plan various events, workshops, and company visits associated with Human Resources throughout the academic year.

     

  • Sport Management Association
    About & Purpose

    Our mission is to help members prepare themselves for work in the sports industry by putting on guest speaker events with professionals currently working in college and professional athletics. We aim to build skills in networking and other key areas of professional development. We also seek to improve ourselves with career-building workshops to put members in the best position for transitioning out of college and into the workforce. We provide ample opportunities for members to learn about and make connections in the sports industry while still in college!

     

  • Supply Chain Management Association
    About & Purpose

    The focus of the club is to gain a better understanding and appreciation for resource management, with an emphasis on manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain systems, and to promote beneficial relationships between students, faculty, and businesses, and between local, regional, and national APICS organizations.

     

  • Women in Business
    About & Purpose

    Our mission is to promote the equity and acceptance of women in the workforce and provide the tools and knowledge necessary to both men and women, to eliminate stereotypes in all fields and sectors of employment. We aim to provide professional development for young professionals through peer mentoring and networking opportunities. We hope to create an open and safe environment for the community of Ellensburg WA to dialog about the issues and stereotypes that surround women in the workforce.
