If you’re a first-time or transfer student from Yakima, this free program gives you a strong academic foundation before your first quarter begins—and it comes with some great perks!

The Summer Bridge Program focuses on helping you succeed academically while also supporting your transition to college life.

You’ll start in Yakima, building your academic skills and preparing for college alongside a small group of motivated peers, then head to Ellensburg to explore campus, connect with support staff, and get familiar with the resources that will help you thrive.


Program Dates

First-Time College Students

  • Yakima: September 3–4
  • Ellensburg: September 8–10

Transfer Students

  • Yakima: September 11–12
  • Ellensburg: September 15–17
