Transfer Newsletter

A regular electronic newsletter, prepared by the Transfer Peer Ambassadors, goes out to you in your first three quarters at CWU and summarizes upcoming events and ways to get connected. If you would like to continue receiving the newsletter past your third quarter at CWU, let us know!

Peer-to-Peer Mentor Appointments

You can connect with a student who has walked a mile in your shoes. Your Transfer Center Peer Ambassadors are happy to meet with current or prospective transfer students to talk about transfer experience at CWU, answer your questions, help you find resources, and be as successful as possible! You can schedule an appointment (virtual or in-person) by sending us an email.

Reverse Transfer

Students sometimes transfer to CWU before they have finished an associate’s degree and only later discover that it would have been advantageous for their general education requirements to have finished it. You can apply to do a reverse transfer, using credits completed at CWU to satisfy your final associate’s degree requirements. Your academic advisor or our transfer counselors can assist with this.

Are you a Non-Traditional Student?

We're here for our older and wiser students!  If you're over 25 or parenting a child while going to school, please stop by and introduce yourself!  Every Tuesday night at 7 we have a peer-to-peer support group offered on Zoom, as well. Plus, CWU has lots of resources to support you.

Health and Wellbeing Resource Guide

CWU has lots of resources to support you while you're a student.  Our published guide includes resources for emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing, as well as information on staying safe.
