Change your preferred, add, or delete your MFA methods


Note: The instructions below will work if your MFA method is currently working for you. If you are having difficulty logging in or authenticating, please see our MFA Frequently Asked Questions page for help! How to change your preferred authentication method

  1. Visit your security information page.
  2. Log in using your CWU Username and Password.
  3. Verify your login using MFA.
  4. Now, on the security information page, click the Change link to the right of the Default sign-in method.
  5. Select your preferred method.
  6. Click Confirm.

How to add an authentication method

  1. Visit your security information page.
  2. Log in using your CWU Username and Password.
  3. Verify your login using MFA.
  4. Now, click Add sign-in method.
  5. Select the Choose a method box.
  6. Click on the method you would like to add.
  7. Select Add.
  8. Enter the information prompted.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Verify your authentication with your new method.
  11. Click Done.

How to delete an authentication method

  1. Visit your security information page.
  2. Log in using your CWU Username and Password.
  3. Verify your login using MFA.
  4. Now, click Delete on the authentication method you want to delete.
  5. Select OK.
