Requesting a Raise for a Student Employee
All raise requests will be done through Manager Self Service. The raise requests will be submitted with a “position change”. This change continues to streamline our processes.
In MyCWU, click on Manager Tab > Manager Self Service > Request Position Change
Please contact your HR partner if you have any questions and/or suggestions.

Professional Development for Student Employees
SLICE is Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement. SLICE provides CWU students with leadership, service and personal development opportunities throughout the year. These programs vary, from helping the community in which CWU resides to bringing in professionals from companies across the country. We develop partnerships on campus and in the community that promote student development, shared governance and overall commitment to our communities.

Do you have a student employee who consistently goes above and beyond what is expected?
Let them know how much you appreciate them by nominating them for the CWU Student Employee of the Year. Please complete and submit a "Student Employee of the Year Nomination Form" below. Be sure to cite specific examples of your student's work to give strength to your nomination.
The Student Employment Office urges you to take the time to nominate your students and celebrate the work they are doing!
