Washington State Department of Enterprise Services
Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) offers a variety of instructor-led courses at 1500 Jefferson in Olympia, the South Puget Sound Community College in Lacey, and other sites. The cost for their courses range from $120 to $300 per day. CWU does not have access to the State LMS system or their online trainings. To register for the in-person trainings call (360) 664-1921 or use the online form to submit your training registration request. The class offerings can be found at DES Training and Development

Employee Tuition Exemption

Multimodal Education Center (MEC)
Not as technologically savvy as you would like to be? That's okay! CWU's Multimodal Education Center (often referred to as the "MEC") works to train and teach CWU staff, faculty, and students on commonly used technology.

Auditing a CWU Course
To audit a course, an employee needs to fill out the Schedule Change Form and present to the course instructor for signature. Then the form needs to be submitted to the Office of the Registrar. To receive the education benefit ($15 tuition), refer to the Education Benefits procedure.
