Clery Act Compliance
Central Washington University (CWU) is committed to providing a safe and secure learning, working, and living environment that promotes personal integrity, civility and mutual respect.
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, also known as the Clery Act, requires CWU to collect, report, and disseminate crime and fire data, as well as provide timely warnings to the campus community of certain crimes, and notification of incidents that pose a threat to our community.

Any complaints, questions, or concerns regarding Clery Act compliance at CWU should be made directly to the Director of Civil Rights Compliance, John MacArthur, or the Chief of University Police and Public Safety, Jason Berthon-Koch.

Daily Crime and Fire Logs
The University Police Department maintains a Daily Crime Log of all criminal incidents and alleged criminal incidents that are reported to the campus police.

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR)
In compliance with the Clery Act, Central Washington University disseminates an annual security and fire safety report (ASR) to employees and students. The includes statistics of campus crime for the preceding 3 calendar years, plus details about efforts taken to improve campus safety.
