Liaisons Support Teachers
Our academic liaisons provide guidance and for academic questions, syllabi, minimum qualifications, observations and more. See the list of Supporting Liaisons.
New Teacher Application Process
Teachers who wish to apply to be able to teach for CWU CiHS in their school will do so online, upload documents and receive notifications through the online portal at cihs.cwu.edu. See the Instructor Application Process
Minimum Qualifications
All of our CWU College in the High School teachers adhere to the same qualifications as our on-campus instructors. Qualifications are set by the academic departments, and teachers who meet them are encouraged to apply. See Minimum Qualifications
Summer Institute
All instructors are required to attend Summer Institute. New teachers must attend their first year, after approval, so they are fully credentialed to teach. Returning (veteran) teachers must attend every third year (preferably more often) to maintain their credentials. Onboarding, refresher, and discipline specific professional development are delivered during Summer Institute.
