What do we do?
Our team provides quality work for students and staff at Central Washington University as well as many institutions and schools across the country.
Central Access also provides meaningful opportunities for student employees to learn about the production of accessible materials and grow professionally while serving the community.

- Tactile Graphics
- Send us graphics, including maps, diagrams, and images, and we create tactile versions of these graphics that are accessible for individuals with print-related disabilities.
- Braille
- Request a braille version of texts or textbooks (hard copy or electronic braille).
- Nemeth or Unified English Braille.
- STEM Accessibility
- We are the experts at creating accessible science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content for individuals with print-related disabilities, including specialized materials for individuals who are blind.
- Screen Reader Accessible Documents
- Includes HTML and edited Word documents for use with screen readers of your choice.
- Alternative Format Training
- Learn the nuances and intricacies of the production of accessible alternative format materials from basic braille transcriptions to more advanced STEM transcriptions and tactile graphics processing
