Service Opportunities
Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement (SLICE) has a variety of opportunities to serve our community. CWU students can make a difference on campus and beyond simply by volunteering their time. Student organizations can also get involved in any of these service experiences. You and your members can either sign up individually or reach out to slice@cwu.edu for more information on securing space for your members!

As a volunteer, you also become a member of APOYO. You can help serve the community, practice your Spanish, and receive access to resources. Located at Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity Administrative Office and Suncadia ResortKick off your summer by helping Habitat for Humanity prepare for their 16th Annual Give & Golf Tournament at Suncadia Resort on Thursday, June 18, 2026. This signature event brings together community leaders, local businesses, and golf lovers for a full day of fun, connection, and purpose — all to support affordable homeownership in Kittitas County. - Sign up for volunteer events listed under the Current Volunteer Opportunities and Events section of this webpage below.

Can I submit service experiences that I have completed at CWU or off-campus?
Absolutely! Many students complete service experiences and volunteer hours off campus, during breaks in their hometowns, or right here at CWU. You can apply to have your service experience(s) added to your CWU profile! You can submit each experience through our "Community Service / Volunteer Submission Form" within CWU Engage. If you don't have the app on your phone we recommend downloading it and logging in to ensure your service hours are correctly added to your account.
