Winter 2026 Upcoming Programs and Events!


  • Late Night Leadership

    SLICE presents Late Night Leadership, a keynote series in which faculty, staff, and professionals from the CWU community have an opportunity to tell students their own leadership stories. This series is designed to bridge the connection between CWU students and inspirational figures on campus. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

  • LEAD

    LNL Graphic

    LEAD is an event that allows students to dive into leadership while experiencing a fun outdoor/indoor activity. Students will develop their leadership skills through an engaging workshop and then go on an adventure with one of SLICE's campus partners and the leadership programming staff.

  • Power of You Conference

    SLICE is excited to host Power of You, a free leadership day conference focused on personal growth, skill-building, and connection. The event will include keynote speakers, interactive workshops, breakout sessions, light refreshments, and opportunities to network with peers and professionals.

    This accessible, no-cost experience is designed to support your leadership journey at CWU and beyond.

  • Wildcat Leadership Community

    WLC logo

    Wildcat Leadership Community (WLC) is a cohort designed to help students take the next step into becoming authentic leaders on campus and in their communities. WLC is a 7-week program  where participants will learn how to develop their own leadership profile, find like-minded peers, and help the community through service.

    After completion of the program, students will receive a leadership certificate, letter of recommendation, graduation cord, and the opportunity to attend a trip at the end of the cohort.

    How to join? You must attend a WLC orientation at the beginning of Fall, Winter, or Spring quarter in order to register. Orientation dates will be posted here on the web and on instagram @cwuslice.


    WINTER QUARTER ORIENTATIONS (REQUIRED):


    Dates: Jan 21 and 26
    Time: 12PM - 12:30PM and 3PM - 3:30PM; feel free to drop in between these times
    Location: SURC 250, SLICE Office

    During or orientation are provided a full overview of what WLC entails. Students will then be receive access to a sign up link with the option to register for either a Tuesday or Thursday Cohort.

    DISCLAIMER: Winter Quarter will cap out at 40 students. Each cohort (Tues. & Wed.) is 20 students total. 


    WLC's Mission:

    The Wildcat Leadership Community seeks to guide students to become future leaders who value collaboration, ethical practices, application, and selfless service with a focus on themselves and how they can impact others.

    WLC Requirements:

    • Attend WLC orientation.
    • Attend 6/7 weekly cohort meetings.
    • Attend 1 campus event.
    • Attend 1 SLICE Leadership event.
    • Complete 6 service hours through SLICE.

    WLC Perks:

    • SLICE Leadership Certficate 
    • Graduation Cord
    • Letter of Recommendation 
    • Go to an Escape Room
    • End of Cohort Dinner
