Below is the current list of active Registered Student Orgs (RSO). To find contact information you must be a current CWU student and login into our student involvement hub "Engage" in the suitable app (available for free download wherever you get your apps) or by visiting app.suitable.co. Once you're in, just look for the Organizations tab to view all of the clubs and organizations.

The Equity and Services Council (ESC) is comprised of student organizations that maintain an appreciation and understanding of diverse social and cultural heritage. The ESC is a branch of the ASCWU Student Government, with a staff advisor from the Multicultural Center.

RSO Helpful Resources
RSO Officer Training
Officers are required to attend trainings, keep their profile current on CWU Engage, and notify slice@cwu.edu if there are any officer, scheduler, or advisor changes. Save the date for the first training: Thursday, Sept. 24 from 12-2 p.m. or 3-5 p.m. A minimum of two officers must attend either of these sessions, although it's encouraged that as many attend as possible. Additional trainings and resources will be announced at that time.
RSO Handbook (coming soon)
Provides comprehensive guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices for managing and maintaining an RSO in alignment with SLICE and university standards.
RSO Funds Council
Funds Council is a group of volunteer RSO members who review and recommend funding allocations based on RSO funding requests. Online meetings are open to the public, and held every other week. The meeting links will be posted here as soon as they are scheduled.
RSOs requesting funding for any purpose must complete and submit the Clubs Funding Request Form on CWU Engage. All funding requests must include a detailed budget. Please use this Sample Budget Template to attach to your request.
Note: funding requests for travel must be at least 60 days in advance to meet approval deadlines and university processes. This is especially important for travel involving flights, lodging, and/or registrations (i.e., conferences.) In addition to a budget, travel requests must include a complete and accurate Travel Authorization Form. Note that there are three tabs in the document: travel information, student roster/emergency contacts, and travel itinerary.

RSO officers can edit and manage their club/org profile. It’s strongly encouraged that officers keep this page up to date to best serve current and prospective members. If you do not have access to manage your profile, please contact SLICE at slice@cwu.edu for assistance.

Activities
Have an upcoming event or want to remind students about your club meetings? The Activities section is the perfect place to do that. As an RSO officer, you can request a new activity for your club or organization, which will be visible to all students once approved by SLICE.

Renewal for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs)

Overview
Renewal is the annual process to officially re-register your organization for the upcoming academic year. It ensures CWU maintains accurate records of active RSOs and allows new officers access to manage your CWU Engage page. Renewal keeps your club eligible for campus resources, scheduling, and funding opportunities.

What do I need?
Be ready with the following before submitting your renewal:

✅ Confirmation of your club’s intent to renew
-
📅 Date of officer elections
-
🧑💼 Names and start dates of new officers
-
🧾 Updated roster of current and former members
-
📝 Updated list of designated schedulers
-
📜 Revised club constitution (dated 2025–2026)

🌐 Verification that your CWU Engage profile is fully updated
-
🔐 Leadership transition materials (e.g., documents, passwords) passed to incoming officers

👩🏫 Confirmation that your faculty/staff advisor(s) will continue supporting the club for the upcoming year

How to Complete Renewal
The club president or a current officer should lead the renewal in collaboration with incoming officers and your advisor.
Steps:

Log in to CWU Engage

Go to the Forms tab → select “Club Renewal Submission Form”

Complete all required fields and click Submit Form
-
Wait for a confirmation email from SLICE (within two weeks)
If you don’t receive confirmation, email slice@cwu.edu for an update.

After Submission & Next Steps
SLICE reviews all submissions and will contact you via CWU email if revisions are needed. Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email verifying your active RSO status.
If your club has no incoming officers or cannot meet membership requirements, please reach out to SLICE to discuss next steps or create an action plan for reactivation in the future.
Clubs that miss the renewal deadline will lose active status and must re-register to return.
