Congratulations on your admission to CWU Online — you’re about to join a supportive, connected community of learners across Washington State and beyond. Here’s what to do next:

Step 1: Confirm Your Admission

  • Set up your MyCWU account to access your student portal.
  • Use your CWU username (check your email from the CWU Service Desk).
Need help? Contact the CWU Service Desk at (509) 963-2001.

Submit Final Transcripts (if necessary): If you’re finishing high school or college courses, send your final transcripts to CWU to avoid registration delays.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

  • Complete your FAFSA or WASFA. There’s no fee and no deadline. 
  • Log in to your MyCWU portal to find Scholarship Central and other funding opportunities.

Step 3: Complete Online Orientation and Advising

Online students do not participate in the same orientation sessions as in-person Ellensburg and University Center students do. Learn more about Online Orientation.

  • Meet with your advisor to register for classes.
