- 18 Week Coding Bootcamps
Become a Software Developer
Learn high demand skills that will make you a competitive developer in a rapidly expanding industry. This program is offered through Central Washington University Continuing Education in collaboration with Promineo Tech. Promineo Tech partners with colleges to prepare participants for high-growth careers in software development.
Promineo Tech is a group of IT professionals and leaders who believe that quality education should be offered at an affordable price.
Most bootcamps run a Full Stack Software Developer program, but we found that it's better to specialize in either Front End or Back End. Because of this, we offer two separate, full-length programs - one for each stack. This way, students spend more time mastering their selected track and becoming strong candidates for a role in development.
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification Program
Combining your career, industry, or teaching knowledge with a CTE certificate opens doors to teaching CTE programs in middle and high schools, as well as skill centers.
CWU offers Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching courses for current teachers and business and industry professionals. Central’s CTE Teacher Preparation program is uniquely designed for busy, working professionals.
During the academic year, classes meet one Saturday a month and are offered in locations across the state. For those looking for a shorter and more intensive experience, some courses are also offered during the summer in locations throughout Washington.
Course requirements can be satisfied in as little as five weeks for residency teachers, and one to two years for industry professionals.
