Financial Aid
Summer Cost of Attendance
Financial aid offers for summer quarter will be sent in late May. An email notification will be generated once you have enrolled in summer classes. If you need an estimate of the aid available, contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Use the information on this page to anticipate your expenses. Costs for each summer will be available in May. You can use the prior year data to estimate your CWU charges and other expenses for an upcoming summer term.
- Summer Quarter 2025
- Summer Quarter 2026 - not yet available
A full-time student will pay more in tuition for 12 summer credits than they would pay in fall, winter, or spring quarters. This is due to a lower level of state support for the non-standard term. Review the tuition and fee schedules below for your anticipated credit load so you can prepare to cover the cost.
CWU Housing options are available for the six and nine week sessions, and for students who need accommodation into the start of fall quarter. Visit the Summer Housing webpage for dates and costs.
Additional course fees may be assessed. Check the class description or contact the academic department for details.
