Apply to STEP
STEP Freshman Application: The freshman program is on hiatus for the 2022-2023 academic year. It will return in 2023.
Freshman applications are accepted throughout the year. We begin reviewing applications in late April or early May for the following academic year and will continue with ongoing review until the cohort is full. Students will be notified of acceptance beginning in May and into June, prior to CWU Discover Orientations.
The STEP application form is to be used by all incoming freshman who are applying for STEP.

STEP Transfer Application
Students transferring to CWU with an AA degree are eligible to participate in the STEP Transfer Program.
Students will be notified of acceptance after the CWU Discover Transfer Orientation dates, typically in mid-July.
