Importance
Importance
OUR promotes and supports student research, scholarship, and creative expression in all academic disciplines. We strive to provide a university-wide forum for Central Washington University students, encouraging equity, diversity, and inclusivity, representing all disciplines and experience levels, to present their mentored research, scholarship, and creative works at SOURCE.
SOURCE Theme
SOURCE 2026’s theme is Transformation!
Transformation is a thorough, dramatic, or complete change in the appearance or character of something or someone, often indicating that that thing or person is improved. The term transformation is used across all disciplines to indicate changes in variables but is also used to indicate personal growth. Personal transformation is often initiated through important life events that motivate you to develop and improve your personal, professional, and/or academic life. SOURCE stimulates personal and professional development through scholastic achievement. Faculty, staff, community, and peers support students through their transformations during their time here at CWU.
OUR Funding
The Office of University Student Research (OUR) supports students through funding for travel, research, and creative expression.
