Pre-Award Services
Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP), a division of the School of Graduate Studies and Research, is dedicated to working with faculty and staff to increase externally-funded research, scholarly activities, and other sponsored projects.
RSP provides the following services to faculty and staff:

Identify and disseminate external funding opportunity information;

Provide assistance with proposal and budget development and preparation (such as proposal consultation, guidelines interpretation, proposal and forms review, and development/review of project budgets);

Serve as liaison on pre-submission/pre-award matters between the funding sponsor and the individual applicant;

Oversee the process for obtaining institutional approval for external support and transmitting proposals to funding sponsors.

Post-Award Services
Grant & Contract Accounting (GCA), a division of Finance & Administration, provides accounting and financial compliance services for sponsored projects awarded to CWU. In addition, GCA oversees compliance with University policies and procedures, as well as federal and non-federal rules and regulations required by various funding agencies.
