About the Camp

SLYM is a two-week summer music intensive experience for pre-college students taught by CWU music students and mentored by CWU music faculty and peer mentors. Sessions include songwriting, ensembles, music reading, world music, and instrumental group lessons. We think and want to show and pass on that every young person deserves to interact with music.

SLYM is open to all children entering Grades 3 - 12. Students will be placed in personalized classes designed to meet their level and age.
