KVMC AMC Prep Program: 6th-8th Grade Students
Every January the Mathematical Association of America offers the American Mathematics Competition 8.This is a “25-question, 40-minute, multiple-choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills.” The Kittitas Valley Math Circle is planning to host this competition in Ellensburg the week of January 18, 2023. To encourage interested students, we plan to offer weekly evening “practice & play sessions” at CWU to any middle-school student interested in math enrichment or problem-solving.
