Understanding of migration and diaspora by exploring the lived experiences of Latinos in the U.S. and the factors influencing migration from Latin America.

Knowledge of Chicano, Latino, and Latin American cultures through studies in literature, film, art, and music.

Preparation for careers engaging with Latinx communities in fields such as business, government, social work, law and justice, and education.
