The Cybersecurity minor/certificate provides students with foundational skills to protect digital systems, data, and networks in today's technology-driven world. Designed to complement a wide range of majors , this program introduces key concepts in information security, risk management, and cyber defense.

 Students gain hands-on experience with industry tools and explore topics such as network security, digital forensics, and risk management. The curriculum helps prepare students to address evolving threats and support the security needs of organizations in any sector.

  • IT 238: Intro to Cyberwarfare - 4 credits
  • IT 336: Digital Forensics - 4 credits
  • IT 351: Computer Networks - 4 credits
  • IT 436: Cyberattack and Defense - 4 credits
  • IT 438: IT Risk Management - 4 credits
