Placement Application Deadlines

Student Teaching (EFC 480)
- Fall: Apply by January 15
- Winter: Apply by May 1
- Spring: Apply by October 1
Field Experience (EFC 330)
- Pre-Fall and Fall: Apply by April 1
- Winter: Apply by October 1
- Spring: Apply by January 1
Elementary Practicums (ELEM 494/ELEF 495)

MAT administrative staff will send the application to each candidate's CWU email account upon program acceptance.

Appeals for Late Applications: The Appeals Committee will consider appeals for a late application, on a case-by-case basis, until approximately one month after the deadline for that field experience. After the application deadline has passed, you can click the link for your specific field experience course above to see that quarter's appeal deadline. If you wish to submit an appeal in order to have your late application considered for placement, please contact your content area advisor to discuss the reasons for your late application and to receive the appeal link.
