A Hard-Working Minor
Our minor program provides the opportunity for you to gain knowledge and skills in the full spectrum of supply chain activities: supplier relationships, purchasing management, operations, and inventory management, logistics and transportation, and more.
Minor or Certificate?
Ultimately, the decision between a minor and a certificate depends on your goals. Minors are often chosen to enhance a major. Certificates, on the other hand, tend to have a more practical orientation that is directly applicable to the job market or industry demands.
Purchasing and Financial Tradeoffs
The program covers the complexities of purchasing products and services, emphasizing the importance of coordination and timing. Students will also explore the financial and service tradeoffs involved in procurement decisions.
Industry-Based Projects
CWU’s supply chain program incorporates industry-based projects from local and global companies, offering students real-world experience. Through these projects, students work in teams to define objectives, implement solutions, and present their findings to company management.
