Terry P. Anderson Endowed Scholarship
Award Description
The fund provides scholarships to help students who have the goal of establishing careers that benefit the environment and are interested in ecology, the environment and resource management. The scholarship will be given annually on a competitive basis among qualified students with good academic standing at CWU, through the General Scholarship Application process in coordination with a University Scholarship Committee. Awards are for one academic year and may be renewable if the recipient maintains satisfactory academic progress, as determined by his/her department head and if funds are available.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled full-time
- Major in Environmental Studies or Biology--Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Specialization, or minor in Biology or Environmental Studies
- Be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Demonstrate financial need (preference)
- From underrepresented group (preference)
