Grant Opportunities

Multimodal Learning is happy to provide financial support to faculty and staff who are developing innovative and interactive ways for students to engage with online and distance learning. Each application below must be completed in full and will be reviewed by our instructional design and administrative staff to ensure quality and consistency of instruction.

Applications are accepted year round and reviewed on varying schedules, please see individual forms for more detail.

Stipend Opportunites

Master Online Teacher Certification (MOTC)

Faculty who wish to pursue certification will be asked to submit a letter of application outlining their intention to develop or revise an online course, the timeline for development, and a letter of support from their Chair identifying the quarter in which the course will be offered within the next academic year or summer session. Faculty who complete this certification will receive a $1500 stipend.

Master Online Teacher Mentor Certification (MOTMC)

After completing the MOTC, faculty can apply for the Master Online Teacher Certification, which will provide them opportunities to mentor colleagues in online course development. Faculty who are accepted into the program and complete all of the following requirements for certification will receive a $2,500 stipend.
