Create Lab:
The Multimodal Education Center offers a variety of equipment ranging from laptops and GoPros to projectors and lavalier microphones. Equipment checkout is free to all members of the CWU community with a current CWU Connection Card and you can check out equipment for 7 days.
We also provide a number of services, such as poster printing, 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl and paper cutting, digital production, studio spaces and more! Addtionally, we provide workshops, seminars and educational opportunities on a variety of student focused subjects pertaining to technology.
The MEC Create Lab hosts a full lab of both PC and Mac computers that members of the campus community are welcome to use for media production, collaborative assignments, using our Carvey or Cricut machines or anything else they may need to fully connect technology and higher learning. Computers boast a comprehensive collection of software including the Adobe suite, Microsoft Office, and Apple's line of production software with the likes of iMovie, Garageband and more.

The Create Lab will lead you to information on our poster printing, 3D printing, 3D scanning, laser cutting, vinyl and paper cutting and digital production computers. We typically charge for replacement costs of materials and our friendly staff can provide consultations on any of the technologies found in the Lab.
VR Lab:
Explore immersive learning, creative and entertiaing environments within Virtual Reality.
Studios:
We have four small recording students for students, a larger one for faculty recordings and a podcasting room.
